Fun capture. We get some ibis type shore birds but I'm not sure. I think they are oystercatchers and their legs are bright red. Love the unexpected location. To me at least.

when i was in chicago a few years ago, i saw a flock of geese who commandeered the roofs of two houses. i thought it was kind of funny, it also being early morning. the neighbourhood wasn't quite happy. nice capture of this one.

It looks almost metallic in the light. Nice capture.

I have a love/hate relationship with these birds. Love having them around and there are a couple that seem to enjoy our garden - but simply hate their loud raucous calling, and all the poop they leave around the pool!

Gorgeous capture - I too, think the setting adds so much to the image.
