The Mount southern view full tide

Mauao (The Mount) is the sacred mountain that guards the entrance to the Tauranga harbour. The shape is different depending where in the region you look at it. This was captured from my phone from the south or from Waitui Reserve, looking over Matakana Island. The tree is on the Te Puna point.
Beautiful :)

Hi Sandra. It's a beautiful part of the world you live in. Congratulations on your win in the Get Pushed Challenge. A nice flat lay. For your challenge this week, how about a photo using negative space as part of the composition. Here's an article which gives a pretty good definition. https://digital-photography-school.com/negative-space-in-photography/

@randystreat Thank you Kathy, I'm not a competition person really but was thrilled that people liked my Kur Splash. Negative space is something I can learn more about too thanks for my new challenge. I'll get back soon with one for you!

@kwind Thank you, the cellphone is not the best capture but that's all I had at the time.

@365projectmalh3 I hope travel becomes more possible for you once flights start up again. Napier is a lovely place to be in NZ.
