I thought I had done with collages for some time but here I am back again with one. I just could resist putting this one up to commemorate three major events of 1st May. If it were a week-day, today would have been a public holiday. The pics symbolise:
1. (Top left) Malta’s entry as full member of the European Union in 2004 – in the picture are the Malta and European Union flags side by side (unfortunately no wind)
2. (Right) A great man’s birthday (hehehe) – mine (that’s me in my shadow)
3 Workers’ Day and that’s a street cleaner or public garden attendant at 10.00 in the morning fast asleep (presumably he started work at 8.00a.m.). Proof of this are a litter bin on wheels and brooms close by (photo taken some 10 days ago at a public garden on a weekday – I couldn’t help taking this pic it looked so comical). This case apart, Maltese workers are known to be hard workers with a great capacity for work and an ambition to succeed.
