I don't keep souvenirs of the dead. I got these holy pictures with the picture of dead relatives and family friends from my dad for this photo so I could enter it in the theme competition of the week. My wife is here showing them to my grand-daughter and recounting to her their story. Among these 'souvenirs' are those of my beloved mum, my father-in-law, my favourite uncle (who was a priest) and other relatives. It is the custom in Malta to make these 'souvenirs' on the passing away of family members. They consist of a holy picture with an appropriate prayer on one side and the photo of the deceased on the other.
Good shot, nicely composed. Like the models too ; ) even though they are intelligently hidden not to remove the focus on the theme of this photo. My opinion is that it is one of the best posted this week for the theme!
