For this vacation we joined a group tour to the Valle d’Aosta an valley in the heart of the Alps bordering, Italy, France and Switzerland. In fact we landed at Geneve Airport in Switzerland. The group was meant to stay in Courmayer in Valle d’Aosta but because of some technical problem we were informed beforehand and requested to agree that we spend the first night in Evian, France, on the way stopping at the gorgeous lakeside medieval village of Yvoire. Buildings in this quaint little village were all covered with all types of flowers. Christine posed for me in front of this house. The weather was very sunny but not hot throughout our stay.
Thank you so very much for looking and for your wonderful comments on yesterday’s picture. I am so happy to be part of this fantastic community. About the stain, Rick, I will have to darken the colour to match it with other pieces of furniture in the same study.
A beautiful scene there, and the flowers on the wall, a really nice touch. Your desk turned out great, and it makes sense to match it to your existing decor. It looks like a bought piece, but better quality for sure.
Hope you posted my new desk today, does it arrive next week??
