While waiting for our first visit of day in Sicily, Ragusa Cathedral Museum, I was wondering around looking for some shots to take. The town was still very quiet but a car stopped some 50 mtrs away from where I was and another stopped next to it. The two young ladies inside started chatting while one of them was brushing up her make-up. I said to myself: “this would make a cool candid shot.” So I aimed the canera and took a snap. The young lady with the make-up brush got wind of me and she made me, what I thought, a thumbs-up sign which I reciprocated. When I loaded it up on the computer I found a completely different indication.
Thank you very much for looking and for commenting on yesterday’s picture.
She did catch you in the act, but I agree with Anne- I think that's a peace sign. Her face is far too amused to be giving you the other option. Good shot!
@johnnyfrs@olivetreeann Thank you very much for your comments. As far as I know the peace sign is made with the fingers facing the opposite direction. For me it doesn't matter, I had fun taking the shot.
Also like the expression on the other young lady's face.
