Was walking along the promenade at around 8.15 am with my camera in hand. Took some shots in St Julians, facing the rising sun. I had some good results – this is the one I chose to post.
The boat with the name Sea Boy is a Maltese “Kajjik”. It is very similar to the “luzzu” and is very similarly painted in the tradional way. The difference between the two types of boats are the size: a kajjik is normally smaller (sometimes much smaller) than a “luzzu” and the rear is flat and not pointed like that of a “luzzu”.
Thank you very much for looking and for your lovely comments on yesterday's picture
Lovely Dione....isn't St Julians up the top of the island? Why were you up there so early? Inquisitive aren't I!! Or am I totally confused & too lazy to get my map!!!!
@artseyanne Thank you for your comments. St Julians is adjacent to Sliema, along the promenade. When we met you said you didn't like the busy life of the area (around Spinola).
