Took this shot at San Anton Palace grounds. This duck with others was happily going round this central pond in the garden of the palace. I took several shots but I liked this one most. The wire in the surrounding fence seemed to make a perfect dividing line between the real duck and its shadow.
I am sorry to disappoint some of you with my straightforward comments on the soccer world cup matches. I do not have a side to support, although I fancy some types of tactics and techniques, but I try to be as objective as possible. The amazing thing is that there are no longer the bigger and the smaller soccer nations, the ‘smaller’ have moved up and have reached (almost) the lever of the ‘big’ nations, soccerwise .
Thank you very much for looking and for your lovely comments on yesterday’s picture.
No worries, surely about soccer?? Its your opinion and should be respected, not that I know too much about the teams other than they are so skilful! This is beautiful focus on that duck with the light shining on it!
Fav! I enjoyed your narrative and can understand why you would choose this shot. Beautifully caught in that lighting and the shadows of the fence. I enjoyed your comments about the soccer games. It made me get "into" the sport more than before & looked fwd to hearing your comments each day.
Nice shot Dione! Don't worry about me- I didn't take offense at your opinion. I do find you to be insightful about the matches and always appreciate hearing your point of view. Your comments got me thinking about pov and how broad of a scope it can be depending on where you stand within that spectrum! I like that about 365- it really does open up our view of the world.
