First shot from our Ireland holiday.
Christine always lets me have the seat near the airplane window whenever possible as she knows I like taking pictures during the flight. When I saw this plane seemingly rushing to reach us I took two shots. This is one of them. I was a bit unlucky as we got seats over the wings both out and back and there was not much room to take shots without having a wing dominating the view.

I'm the same on a plane - but sometimes you are able to get a super photo especially when clouds are around. The plane in this shot would be well above your plane! There are rules and hopefully the pilots are aware!
