down the manse drive

This is actually a 'private' drive now but we still walk that way sometimes (Scottish right of way).
It leads to The Old Manse - formerly the home of the minister/pastor/vicar at the Church of Scotland /Parish Church.
It is now a rehabilitation centre for those who suffer from addictions and the new manse - now 30 years old! - is just across our bridge.
The view down the drive is beautiful what ever time of year ....and I hadn't see that a tree had been taken down until I went to take the photo. Large logs there!
Very pretty and inviting!

It's the sort of picture that makes you want to go there. I wonder who owns the logs?

It looks like a very peaceful and therapeutic place for people with problems to stay. What ... no rain??! and is that a ray of sunlight I see?

Exactly what I'd expect a country lane in Scotland to look like! Beautiful!
