Birthday today and following a friend's idea a while ago we came to Formartine's for breakfast. What a good idea. It's such a lovely establishment on the edge of Haddo estate woodland and we had the best kind of breakfast and a lovely look around the shop after. Even the sign on the 'ladies' is so pretty!
I think we will go back soon again!
@gijsje We don't usually have breakfast like this! But it is a lovely treat on special days and holidays. It is all sourced as locally as possible so was really tasty!
What a lovely idea - a birthday breakfast. My daughter's birthday is in a couple of weeks time and she said it's always difficult to know what to do at this time of year - I'll suggest breakfast! Happy shot and happy birthday!
Happy Birthday!! My sister's yesterday (50th so a big one) and they were snowed in. The flowers I sent were dumped at her closed school which is a half hour drive away on clear roads (they are sending more and her TA has some nice flowers as she chanced to find the first lot!). So she would be very jealous of your splendid birthday breakfast. Very pretty Ladies sign too! Hope you have a lovely day.

@sarah19 We have a date in London as soon as the weather picks up - I'm sure we can spoil ourselves and make up for it. She was born in the terrible won't of '63 so should be tough!
@judithg I remember that one....my little brother had just arrived and I was going to a party at the house next door. My mum had a big brush and cleared the path in front of us as we walked to their place! Enjoy later!
