Had a lovely day today! Allan and I took part in a one day music event at Pitmedden - just a few miles from home. We were practising and performing Vivaldi's 'Gloria' from scratch with a very mixed group of participants. Some were professional musicians, some were occasional musicians. Some had sung it lots of times, and some (like me and like Allan) who had never sung it before! What a super day and, though our audience could have been greater in number, everyone was very impressed at how it went ....we certainly were. The clarinet player was sitting just in front of me when I was in my seat and I enjoyed following her music as she played her solo!
Three good things
1. A fresh start after a great sleep
2. Meeting new people (and some we knew) and enjoying music together.
3. Sunshine came through later in the day!
