Monday morning.....up earlier than usual to spend a little time with David, Jenn and Connor before they went off in the train to Bruges for a few days.
Had a lot of fun until the train pulled out......and I did feel a bit sorry for myself! Not sure when we will see them next but we have had such a lovely time and that is what to focus on!
Allan and I enjoyed visiting the Westerkirk in the city and climbed the tower ( great view) and loved an organ recital at lunch time to celebrate Rembrant's birthday.
And then (after my nap to recover from the heat!) we found a lovely place for dinner just by one of the canals!!!
Partings are terrible & a little one makes the whole thing far worse...i know exactly how you feel!! A lovely collage...Amsterdam looks a very nice place to live!
