I was passing a familiar house just down the road from my parent's house today and the lady was cutting her grass......I hadn't met her before but I just said how I loved her garden! I think she was surprised as it has got a little overgrown. But we had a nice chat and when I said I'd taken a photo of some of her flowers last time she picked one of the few remaining ones and gave it to me.

Three good things
1. a restful weekend with mum and dad
2. got lots of little things done for them which is nothing for me but a lot for them
3. sunshine mostly....even though chilly in the wind up here! Last day in August so can't complain.
