Travelling up on the train on Friday we had some sharp showers as well as long sunny periods. I took quite a few of this rainbow but I'm glad I caught this particular point as the headland just to the right of the rainbow is Cromarty where I had my first teaching post! Happy memories and I have gone back a few times since then!
The buildings on the left are newly redeveloped - when I was in Cromarty it was an oil platform construction yard.
Three good things
1. I love rainbows - they seem to say promises are for real!
2. The rich harvest after all the sunshine this summer
3. Happy happy days in this part of the world
