revamped family room

Just loving the new colours in our family space.
Softer new look with lots of space on plain walls for family photos and some special favourite pictures.
Today the carpet men arrived and it was so lovely to find that it worked perfectly with the different items of furniture, the curtain colours and the wall colours!

This was what it was like before and for 20 years I liked it a lot!

Three good things
1. Colour and light.....what a difference they make
2. That satisfied feeling having done most of it myself, with a little help and lots of encouragement from Allan.
3. A long Skype with Laura in Melbourne just after the men had left! Just what I needed....someone to share it with!
