freesia

Love the way they are opening.....and the colours!
Happy Birthday to my lovely friend Sheila who has a big birthday today. We met the week after Allan and I moved to Oldmeldrum in 1984 and we have been the best of friends ever since!
Having a busy evening of school work! If I'd done some more at the long weekend ......but no ....I'm glad I did what I did!
Three good things
1. everyone seemed in good form back at school today......perhaps the four day week is the solution!
2. The window cleaners came today and it's lovely looking out as so many plants and trees are opening.
3. Did a big tidy out of some drawers yesterday and it was lovely opening them today!!
Speaking as an ex teacher, well done you for not doing the work, and taking the time off, it restores the soul and in the long run makes us better at the job. (If only the powers that be understood that).
And it's a lovely shot of the freesia, pity you couldn't capture the scent too!

Beautiful arrangement and framing. I know what you mean about job satisfaction with the drawers - men don't seem to get the same sense of pride!
