It was my friend Sheila's birthday on Tuesday so when the house group met on Thursday evening she was happy to extend the celebrations.
Marks and Spencer provisions were delightful and we had a lovely evening together. Some of us have met every Thursday in term time for over 20 years so we know each other really well and have learned and laughed together a lot in that time. Others have joined us and it's nice to find they soon feel at home and happy to share their lives and faith with us!
Friends make all the difference in the world.
Three good things
1. A busy day at school and a late finish to get sorted for the weekend.
2. A lovely evening and delicious eats and things to drink. M&S have some lovely soft flavoured sodas which we tried for the first time....and wine for the non drivers!
3. Allan off to stay at mum and dad's on his way to Skye for a study weekend.
