Had a lovely open evening at school after a very busy few days getting our little growing things together! Sold quite a few and will 'advertise' in the staff room tomorrow!!!
We spaced the salad seeds out on kitchen paper with flour and water paste dots.....so no thinning of carrots, radishes or lettuce needed!!
The little bags we put together from a template so lots of scissor skills, folding and gluing!
Today the label writing was a lovely activity and what great effort they all put in!
The brown paper bags with garden string handles contained two little paper pots (made with newspaper and a paper potter!!) and contained flower seeds in compost....ready to plant.
And what lovely comments from parents and other visitors to my classroom!!!

Thanks for your lovely comments. The children are 5 to 8 year old and have a range of additional needs (mild to moderate) but I have two classroom assistants in the mornings who are superb. And for the final morning there was a lot of adult finishing off! But what a lot of fun.
Bag templates from 'the Toymaker'...Google for details and also details of seed strips via Google / Pinterest. Nice to share.
@sarah19 p's brown paper bags from Lake land with paper pots made from newspaper using a 'paper potter.....A brilliant tool - everyone had a go fairly independently....good tool for adult gardeners too!
