Feels like a long day but it was nice to sit at teatime and find the sun shining a little ......the pots on the patio are flourishing and getting little showers to keep them from drying out.
Three good things
1. Got a bit of weeding done after school
2. Cooked some lemon sole for tea and rather enjoyed it......Allan was out with some colleagues.
3. Have rescued my umbrella plant. Hope it survives. After drying out due to my neglect since redecorating I put it outdoors and I think the cold would have finished it off......not used to north of Scotland single figure temperatures at night!!!
TLC and hopefully it will thrive again!
Your tender care will be enough Sallie I'm sure...you take after your dad with the garden! Pretty border......the weather is fabulous at the moment isn't it........a pleasure to be outside!
