I did smile when I was waiting for my friend Astrid today. Seeing the two staff members after the train to Edinburgh pulled out (and it actually waited for two guys who were really last minute!) as I thought of @happypat 's picture from London........what a contrast!
Astrid's train had been cancelled but the next one was not far behind and we had a lovely catch up over lunch. So nice to keep in touch as we were 'study buddies' two years ago and got on so well!!
Three good things
1. Got some shopping done in Aberdeen before Astrid arrived
2. Relaxing lunch
3. Train is such an efficient way to travel when it's on time......no parking worries and a much shorter travel time than taking the car!
