I just love 'The Flower Shop' in Tain. It's a delightful sensory experience as soon as you reach that part of the High Street. ....and is full of all sorts of gifts for all sorts of occasions.
This is a selfie....after I'd found a lovely 'Secret Santa' gift for school and additional items for the tree and house. Sh! Don't mention to Allan.
Three good things
1. a shopping trip to Lidl with mum and her friend...met lots of lovely friends and got what was on list and a few lovely extras
2. Favourite shops. ...Harry Gow, the brilliant bakery, and The Flower Shop!
3. Cosy fire, mincemeat pies and cup of tea, and cooked for tomorrow so restful Sunday morning for all!
Oh yes, I see you now. What a delightful shop full of treasures. You always make your visits to local shops and restaurants sound and look so inviting!
@judithg hee hee....vertically challenged Christmas challenges! Wondering if I can manoeuvre the tree into its container by myself this evening as Allan is out at choir and late home. If only I was taller! @busylady Thanks Judith. ..Some shops are part of our personal history I think and the lovely Sandra who owns this shop is always friendly and interested in who's doing what and where as her family ran the flower shop when I was little, and my Dad knew all the families who went to school there.
@judithg@sarah19 I think you might just be a fraction taller than Sallie Judith! Not much in it though...exactly how small are you both? I am 5.3 apparently ....I thought I had shrunk recently but that's what I was last time I was measured.
