Came up to Mum's in the train today.... it was chilly and very grey most of the way and the forecast was heavy rain at my destination. But no!! Ten minutes from home the sun came out.
Three good things
1. Being here again.
2. Allan was able to help elderly friends....the husband had fallen just across from our house as Allan arrived back after dropping me off at the station. Some glue and steri-strip and tape and he got home from A&E in Aberdeen.
3. The no 35 bus driver saw the incident and stopped to help. Almost an hour later the passengers transferred to the next bus. Country life at its best!

Quite a lucky shot from moving train on my phone. Lots of soggy places in many fields but the snow has cleared. Not so much snow here as back home.
Pat hay bales are selling at 4 times usual price up this way after the wet summer months.
