At the top of the stairs we have a dolls' house which is almost 30 years old. Allan made it and I did all the decor etc for Laura's birthday when she was 4 I think!
And so many children, as well as our own, have had fun playing with it. But when Connor and Finnley were exploring it last night I realised how dusty and tired looking it all was!! So today we got some soapy water out on the patio and the big clean up started!
What fun they had playing in the water and sorting all the washed things on an old towel!
Three good things
1. Mostly they had a good night's sleep!
2. Fun in the sun today
3. Jonathan and his friend came for tea.....we ordered Indian take away and all ate it at the patio table so no cooking and no mess!!!
Oh and Happy Birthday to Susannah today. She's off to work in Amsterdam in a couple of weeks but we hope to see her on Saturday!
You couldn't give them anything better to do....his kids love playing with water & they will love putting it all back together again & take special pride in doing so. Good luck to Susannah!
