Another early morning - taxi to Marina for ferry to Whitehaven Beach and you can see that it's pretty special.
We had a lovely sail, with refreshments on the boat, fresh fruit, muffins and drinks. Then disembarked and had a couple of hours on the beach. It was very hot ......had been aware that this would be the case so well covered up and covered in sunscreen.....Scottish skin is not accustomed to anything like this!!!! The sand is quite unique and doesn't get hot so you don't burn your feet even when walking on it.
And the blues were just amazing!
Three good things
1. Words couldn't really say how amazing so much of today was.
2. Stopped at Hamilton Island for a few hours on the way back so it was nice to explore a little more.
3. Wandering in the evening we managed to arrange a flight over the Barrier Reef for the next morning - what a bonus!
