What a delightful city this is and travel seems so easy. Short walk to tram, short tram ride to city centre and then SO much to see. Lovely shops, fabulous market, amazing pubs and restaurants and such a buzz about the place. Climbed the bell tower beside the cathedral (400+steps) loved the sunshine and views, fab little lanes, beautiful windows, music and buzz everywhere.
Three good things
1. Some very tasty snacks, meals and drinks
2. Special gifts to take home
3. Early to bed while Susie and her Dad going to watch the big football game on screen at a pub somewhere nearby!
Not a place that comes to mind immediately for a holiday but it sounds a lovely place. Great to see Susannah there with Allan....our kids do get about! I have my iPad back for fifteen minutes while it’s half time!

Thank you for your lovely comments. Utrecht is smaller city than Amsterdam and less expensive to live in so Susie moved here and has a lovely place with 4 bedrooms so can easily have visitors 😊
We'll go to Amsterdam for the morning and then to see other places she loves. A little time in Amsterdam on Monday before our afternoon flight home.
