Though I think he's lost his moustache. Finnley celebrating Halloween at Nursery in China.
It was very interesting to hear from the children at school today that many of them didn't like Halloween at all. I was telling them stories about when I was their age. We knew it as Guising and all very much more gentle. With our turnip lanterns we went to neighbours and friends and had to sing or dance or tell a joke to earn our reward- a handful of fruit/nuts,
sweets and sometimes coins.
Happy days.
Three good things
1. Good gardening session planting up our barrels of flowers with bulbs for spring time.
2. David and Jenn got their postcard.....the one we sent from Italy in August ππππ
3. Cosy by the fire tonight.
Halloween is scary for children....I donβt like Halloween either! I like the sound of yours much better! Iβm surprised itβs reached as far as China!
