We spent several hours in the garden, cutting back overgrown willows, clearing dead trailing things from 2020, and after friends had taken away the last of the log pile there were several loads of wood chipping to be moved to cover the space. Lovely sunshine and warm when we went out but the north wind got up and by the time we decided to stop it was rather chilly.
Three good things
1. Ladybirds....so lovely to see several in amongst the debris. I hope I haven't wrecked their homes!
2. Tea and scones at the patio table with our friends.
3. Shopping in Tesco! First time I've been this year!! Its only 6 miles to Inverurie but Allan has done shopping there when needed.

Thank you for your lovely comments. Great to get started and hopefully we will be able to enjoy relaxing in it at some point. Most of what we did is not visible from the family room patio doors but that will be phase 2!
