Spent a lot of time in the garden but didn't take any photos so ....
Local Asparagus was the treat really but we enjoyed it all.
Very confused brain kept thinking that it was Saturday as no school so will enjoy the real Saturday this weekend.
Three good things.
1. Good Friday hymn on Radio 4 before morning news. I like this tradition still in place.
2. Warm enough to be comfortable working outdoors.
3. Primroses, pruning lavender, pots refreshed, new buds on honeysuckle....new beginnings.
Oh, very nicely organised - I can appreciate the avocado and the small tomatoes. I am also confused - but didn't go to church on Sat! I wish I had heard your hymn on the radio!
@maggiemae 😀
One verse of 'There is a green hill far away' has been played before the BBC Radio 4 news at 8am on Good Friday for as long as I can remember. Nice start to the day!
I love asparagus too! And I spent yesterday thinking it was Saturday, which is bizarre considering I attended a Good Friday service online in the morning!!
If I’m not at work I have no idea what day it is. I popped out to the shops yesterday, the empty carpark should have given it away but it wasn’t until I got to the closed shop I realised it was Good Friday.
