Lovely bit of team work as I shared instructions for this with Alla. She enjoyed eating one I made earlier in the week so......
definitely successful.
We were having dinner at a neighbour's house on Friday and said we would bring a dessert.
Today I wakened feeling a bit lighter than I have for 48 hours. Grateful! Mr B brought me toast and tea and it was the best ever. A tiny portion of turkey and vegetable soup ( he had made) was delicious at lunchtime and by dinner time I was up for Slow Roasted Beef etc.
I think I am on the mend but not rushing anywhere fast.
Three good things
1. Happy New Year greetings on my phone.
2. A lovely warm bath before dinner.
3. Some lovely TV - Songs of Praise from Wales, The Boy the Horse the Fox and the Mole,
and Antiques Road Show special about vintage TV programmes.
