Such a remarkable sky this evening, looking towards the distillery down the road from our house, with the weeping beech branches leaning in and the gorgeous layers of red and blue. We couldn't stop looking at it changing minute by minute.
Three good things
1. A great sleep and so nice to wake up to the orderly space after all my tidying etc yesterday.
2. A lovely walk and very little wind - makes such a difference after all the chilly days.
3. Delicious pheasant with orange sauce and roast potatoes for dinner. We were given the pheasant by a friend who doesn't like 'anything like that!' An excellent recipe and enough left over for tomorrow.
