Camellia blossom

It's coming.... slowly slowly....
Some areas are suffering from the frost +sunshine but I'm glad the blossoms are coming out too.

How lovely. We had one just like this in France. I loved to see it blossom. Not sure it would do well in Ballater, though!

My camellia bush is covered in buds with a few starting to open and we are in opposite seasons

@jamibann I imagine the frost in Ballater might be a bit much, though if you had good sheltered spot and 'winter coat' it might be okay.

@kjarn WOW that is rather interesting. Some of our buds are looking a bit poorly but hopefully they will survive.

@happypat oh I love the pink too and it's so lovely to see the colours when it's fleece comes off. We were a bit ruthless pruning it last autumn as it had almost reached the upstairs windows!
