Loved the way the roses were opening in the bright sunlight in the flowers I arranged on Saturday.
And today it's her 88th Birthday. She's amazing and inspiring and grateful in so many ways and loves us all beyond words. Today my sister is making birthday lunch for her and Dad and we all had a lovely weekend.
Three good things
1. Mothers .....and Fathers and families and friends
2. Safe travelling
3. Gentle alarm clock reminding me that I have school to go to in an hour!!!!!

I always think you are a wonderful family...all so caring & happy with it! Your mum & dad happy with their simple family life & so contented...I think contentment is the greatest gift. Happy birthday to your lovely mum Sallie!

Thank you for your lovely comments. Mum and Dad had a lovely day and were tired but happy when I spoke to them on the phone last night! I think I must teach them to Skype as it's nice to make visual contact as well. ........written instructions to follow and I'm sure mum would manage. She's doing really well with her smartphone and knows what is what on her laptop so................
