Went for a jog / walk as it was such a lovely morning and home via the baker and papershop. Passed some lovely gardens and loved the foxgloves at the gate. So many of the lovely views I remember from when I was little are now blocked by tall trees. Rather a pity really.
Three good things
1. Trip to Tesco with Mum and her 91 year old friend.
2. Warm and dry so Dad out mowing the grass.
3. Laughed this morning as Laura had taken Iain on a surprise mathematical tour of Melbourne for his birthday, which he loved!!!!
Rather magnificent - hoping the ones I'm growing look like this next year - somewhat slug dependent... I know what you mean about trees - nice but people don't think what they'll be like when they're big.
