Big dig in the circle flower bed today in spite of the rain. I say 'flower bed ' loosely as it is more than a little overgrown with self seeding and multiplying varieties, and buttercups and couch grass muddled up in it all. However attractive it is from a distance I knew what really needed to be done, so got the gear on and worked really hard. Good feeling but still a lot to do. I really could do with a 'hit squad' to help get it all under control!
Three good things
1. Getting the better of weeds!
2. That 'tidying up' mood.... emptied and tidied two drawers and the corner in the hall!
3. A lovely bubble bath 🌹🐳

Thank you for your lovely comments. It's amazing how things have dried up in 24 hours- so glad I did it yesterday. And yes Elsie....back to school tomorrow, but maybe I can do a little every night till I get what I want done!!!
@nana2r thank you Carmen, we've had much more rain than usual and some very heavy rain for hours with lots of drainage issues and flooding in places this summer. 24 hours later everything here had begun to dry up again!
