train time by sarah19

train time

This was taken on Sunday when I went for a leisurely walk around favourite places......and glad I took these photos as it was so misty when I went for my train yesterday that all the lovely colours would have been lost!
The top photo is heading south which is the way I go home! The left photo is the revamped station building, now a successful restaurant, and the right photo is my view when looking out for the train arriving .....though actually on the other platform!!!
Three good things
1. Good gardening time
2. A good friend for coffee
3. Big moving time.......empty cupboards needed for replacing the boiler .....even if it is in the utility room the pipes will be in all sorts of places!!!
These are lovely and something I never see, the redwoods don't turn colors and the trains left when logging stopped

Boilers are expensive things, just in time for the cold weather! Such s neat tidy station, where are you going when you get on this train? Aberdeen, your parents, work, shopping it's good to have a railway line you can use regularly.

This is the station at Tain where I have travelled from countless times. I've never actually travelled north of Tain by train though it's a very scenic route. I get to Inverness in just over an hour and after a short wait (usually!) I get the train to Aberdeen. ...but get off 2 stops before it at Inverurie. Just under 2 hours for the second part of the journey. ....I know it SO well now.
