Some of my little folk are learning about Egypt in their mainstream classes so we try to make connections for them. With rather coloured construction materials the effect wasn't quite the same as the house in the book we were sharing. However, the sepia option in iPiccy made all the difference. PVA glue, salt, paint and sand gave a different feel to the usual things we have built! And everyone had some part in it which was brilliant!
