It was a long day......finished packing and headed for the airport about mid day. I was really pleased that I checked in online on my phone...not so complicated really....as we didn't have to queue and everything went much more smoothly than last year.
Slept on the flight for a while and had time to wander and have a drink at Frankfurt before the final flight back to Aberdeen.....it was 11.45 pm before we got back to our place.....but so lovely!
Three good things
1. The vase and candle holders I bought at the Old Market are very happy in the family room and the light is gorgeous when the candles are lit.
2. HIVE - we can send a text message to our heating .....awesome....and the house was LOVELY and cosy.
3. Our lovely neighbour had popped in with a meal and fresh mile so we didn't have to think about cooking. It's so good to have lovely neighbours
