JOY....

Barb Newcomb ace. For your challenge, would you like to - portray something that helps you stay happy; or portray a place or an activity where you go that makes you feel good.

Barb, being able to "see" what my children do, via cell phone, makes me feel good. They are so far away, but the photos help.
Hasn't the explosion in communication options made it easy to stay in touch with loved ones? This is a great answer to your challenge! For next week how would you like to try a double exposure? I see you do collages and such, so assume you have the software to do this. If not, let me know and I'll set another challenge.

What a wonderful way to portray your ability to stay in touch with your children. Excellent shot Sylvia

@aecasey Thanks I do have Photoshop. Unfortunately the Canon EOS 60 D can't take double exposures. Will do my best this week.

Nice shot. So much easier these days to stay in touch with loved ones so far away.

@pyrrhula Missed 365 friends to. Going through a rough time....so many things to decide on..hubby needs 24/7 attention now. Will tell about the other sword hanging over my head, as soon as it is clear what is going to happen. All I need is pray and pray and pray....

Ek probeer positief bly, Ek moet weer my kamera gebruik. Dit was vir my ;n kruk om op te leun. Dit het met my baie beter gegaan verlede jaar toe ek aktief deelgeneem het aan 365. My luiheid laat staan. Mooi dag op daardie mooi eiland. Koud hier maar die son gaan skyn.

This is a great representation of your challenge.

I'm sorry to hear about your husband and that you are having such a tough time. My thoughts are with you.

Was the Big Lunch for free? That would be interesting. How much easier it is today! When my son went to the UK some twelve years ago it used to cost me loads to just speak to him for a minute or two on the phone.

Lovely capture and the queen makes me feel so happy < thinking of you and your husband, you may not know me well but I'm always here for a listen.

@ladymagpie Thanks. I do enjoy your stories!

I like this composition - tells of British allegiance as well as celebration. Family doesn't feel so far away on skype!
June 20th, 2016
@sdutoit. I will do for you. Remember, Het is nog nooit zo donker geweest of het wordt altijd wel weer licht.
June 20th, 2016
@pyrrhula Dankie!

Oh Sylvia I always wonder what is going on when you don't post for some time. I am so sorry things are so difficult for you. God never gives you more than you can handle. You are a strong and beautiful person and God will lead you through this hard time. I will keep praying for peace for you and your family. Take care Sylvia.

@stephanies Thanks Stephanie. On my wish list is a cup of coffee with you somewhere sometime. My son and daughter will arrive in SA on Monday to visit their father. I am looking forward to this visit, One get lonely being at home day in and day out. We live outside town and therefore no visiting neighbors. Contact only by telephone. Enjoy your walks with the dogs and take care,

Thank you Sylvia, I am so glad your children are coming for a visit, it will be so lovely for you to have them near. I would love to meet up with you! I doubt I will ever come to South Africa but if you come to England for a visit, then we can meet up and we can chat and chat and put the world to rights and maybe take some pics too! @sdutoit

I can understand that. My daughter takes a few photos of things they do at school, but never selfies, so I never get to see her. Glad she is home for the summer.

Enjoy every moment! This one will arrive on Monday from the UK. Only for a week.
