Thank you @narayani. They only way they could have disappeared is in the handbags of some of the chars I've had over the years. The black folk love teaspoons. They probably didn't think it was stealing when I had so many, and they're only small. Now my cutlery drawer just has an odd assortment of stainless steel teaspoons. But I don't think my current helper, Gloria, who comes in on a Tuesday would ever take anything.
@seacreature oh dear - what a shame. I've had people stay who must "collect" souvenirs...I've had the oddest things go missing...part of the vacuum cleaner?! A novelty nail brush, one earring....weird!
@psdphoto It is quite sad that I used to have 12, but they were found desirable enough for someone to have taken a whole lot before I decided to hide them in a seldom opened cupboard. Now I only have 5 left.
