I have no idea why I felt compelled to attempt to take a photo of a whole lot of chairs stacked together outside a venue at a wine farm. They're not even in neat rows, and I don't really like this photo but it kind of represents my day ... sitting for hours and hours and hours at Casualty at the Government Hospital waiting for someone to attend to my mother and admit her. It's been an extremely long day starting with getting her bathed, and off to the doctor, and then sitting at casualty.
@bf2016@narayani@cottiac@beckyk365 Thanks all. Been a busy week with more waiting at the hospital, as well as some work came in, so I've been pretty inactive on 365. But my mother will be okay thank you. For the price we pay for her medical attention for those who have to use the Govt clinics and hospitals, I suppose I can't expect not to have long queues. Her doctor consultation was only R30, and I pay R400 to see a private doctor. The gastroscopy is another R35, and that probably costs thousands of rands privately.
