The apricot tree also had a very severe pruning - basically I cut half the tree away. I thought it might take a year to recover, but it has started producing some blossoms too. Not nearly as many as the plum tree yet, but I'd rather have fewer nice large apricots than hundreds of little ones falling to the ground and rotting. Will also get fertilizer, compost, and a good watering tomorrow.
