Carol Boyes Hot Pot

Still need to do a lot of work to get a good photo of this. Had to turn it to B&W because of the gazillion reflections it was picking up from .... who knows where. I haven't worked out yet where all the stripey colours came from.
Good in black and white too

This is so cool! Is this yours? Do you have other pieces like it? It looks familiar..thinking maybe I've seen a photo of it before.

It looks great in b&w! It would be fun to work out where all the reflections do come from...

What a great pitcher! Love it! It's so hard to take pictures of reflective items like this. Great background for it.

@365anne Thank you Anne. I tried black & white because although I stood it on a white board, and hung a white sheet behind it, I was still seeing loads of reflections mostly reds and browns and yellows, so I thought it might be good to strip the colour out?

@777margo Yes it is an unusual handle. This is Carol Boyes Functional art so all the pieces have something arty about them

@beckyk365 Thanks Becky. You would have seen it when my Dad died. One of my friends gave it to me instead of flowers at the time and I shot it with the flowers

@narayani Thanks Narayani. If I work out how to photograph this, then I think I could consider trying to become a product photographer

@bf2016 Thanks Barbie. I was speaking to our camera club judge, and he said I should photograph it on black instead of white so I will try that next ...
