Another day at the office. I guess anybody watching me take my things out of the car and unlocking the office will be astounded that I take a teddy bear to work! But I guess one of the advantages of becoming "more mature" is that it doesn't matter so much any more what people think! A dark cloudy day today (but no rain yet unfortunately) so used Teddy for some flash practice and then learned about layer masks in Gimp tonight to blur the background. Took a couple of hours and I will need to do this a few times to really understand what I'm doing, but this is a good start
@sarasotab Thanks for the fave and the comment, Robert. Are you using Photoshop for your edits and layer masks? I believe it is a lot easier to use than Gimp, and more powerful, but at least Gimp is free. It sure is a steep learning curve!
