In stark contrast to the big fishing trawlers which tie up at the fishing harbour (in the background of this photo to the left), are these small time fishermen who go out to sea all day or overnight in these small boats to earn a living the way their parents and generations before them did. These guys must have guts - sitting out there in all weather conditions with absolutely no protection from the elements, all for as many fish as they can safely carry back in those small boats. These are the guys from whom we can buy fresh fish
Lovely colourful capture. I feel sorry for them and their families, not knowing if they come home or not. Sad if one has to make his living this way, yet I know there are so many of them.
