Was out moving a sprinker around on my lawn this morning, and noticed the bulbinella is starting to form some flowers. Sadly, I had put lawn dressing on top of the lawn yesterday, so instead of seeing a nice lawn green background we are seeing the brown soil of the lawn dressing being watered in.
@Dawn Thank you. Bulbine is a plant native to this area I think, but an extremely useful plant to have, especially the one with yellow flowers. It has fleshy leaves filled with some liquid that is extremely good for treating stings and burns as well as other sores, so I do like to keep some growing in my garden all the time.
