The misty series I took at New Covert on the 20th January are some of my favourite B+W and colour shots ever.
I am leaving to take Ben into hospital in a few minutes, so have no time to take a shot today. I will take my camera with me, but doubt that time will allow a shot, hence this one from a couple of weeks ago.
I am taking my IPad, so will hopefully catch up with some of your projects in the quieter moments over the next 4 or 5 days.
I can quite see why you like this so much, it's beautiful. I love the tones and it's such a magical, tranquil image.
All the very best to Ben, we certainly will be thinking of him.
Moody and wonderful. Tomorrow is the big day. Praying for Ben...and his brother, too:). Hugs to you all. Wish I could bring you all over a stovetop dinner!
@ccb@gamelee@japers45@primitiveprobe@amandal@humphreyhippo@andyr@dh@ivan@dulciknit@tasian@simon0128@tomtom@rachelwithey@paulaw Thank you all so much for your support and good wishes. After a very stressful 24 hours we have just been sent home due to a chain of events at the hospital that saw us slip down the pecking order today. Our surgeon is now on holiday, so we will have to wait for the call again and go back in 3 or 4 weeks time. We are home, exhausted, frazzled, and I've just ordered pizza for tea!!
Sorry to hear that it wasn't a 'go' today…I know that's the worst feeling after waiting for something like this to happen and then have it delayed. Enjoy that pizza and have it american style…with a few pints of beer!
@seanoneill cannot believe it how stressful for you all! Maybe it's a good omen- best not to have surgery if the surgeon is on holiday the next day? You may be interested @scolgs is doing a red themed month for bhf.
@paulaw@humphreyhippo@dulciknit@simon0128@tasian@rachelwithey@amandal@ccb Pizza eaten, and a glass of "weekday" red from one of my favourite French vineyards. Thanks everyone, you are so supportive and it means so much. I'm going to post a quick recent shot and then watch some tv with Rebecca, Sam and Ben, but I will catch up with your projects tomorrow.
All the very best to Ben, we certainly will be thinking of him.
Very tranquil image - great in B&W.
