We have twice yearly visits by the dreaded red breasted robins who fly through our neighborhood in sizable flocks, feasting in large numbers on the red berries of our holly trees. They have remarkable memories for those berries. Afterwards, they rest in the branches of a large pecan tree under which our two (fortunately ancient) cars are parked. Needless to say, our poor vehicles get covered by the droppings of these many thoughtless robins, doing what comes naturally, of course! *sighs*
