This guy that lives on my walking route to Lincoln Park told me that the sweet peas grow wild in his yard which makes sense, because they are growing in tangles everywhere on his sloped yard. He lets me photograph them whenever I walk to the park :). This shot was taken a couple of days ago. Thanks for stopping by.
Just love sweet peas, it also brings back childhood memories; my dad used to grow them around the little shed in the garden. I just planted some seeds myself and hope I’m not too late to see them flower ...And I look forward to your photographing them in the next stage, maybe ?
Am a sucker for Sweet Peas. They're so delicate, colourful, curly fronds on the stems...and above all the scent. How can such a fragile looking flower provide so much pleasure?
@s4sayer As a few other commenters have mentioned, sweet peas bring back childhood memories. It's the same for me. My Italian mother didn't think her garden was complete without sweet peas and deep-red geraniums.
