While marshalling at a Jaguar Land-Rover challenge event in mid Wales we arrived at one checkpoint to find it surrounded by sheep, being driven down the lane by four sheep dogs. From a distance one sheep dog appeared to be three legged, but as it got closer we realised that one paw was hooked through its collar. The shepherd explained that it was a young dog, too fast, and that this trick taught him that he must slow down. The dog clearly wasnt bothered by this in the slightest.
